Tint "like second skin"
As the
devil might ask, just how do those guys from Tint King®
get the triple laminated film applied to the inside of car,
business and home windows to stay on?
"It’s
a company secret." says allan starkman franchisor of the world
famous Tint King® franchise.
What he
will say is that the film bonds to the glass "like a second
skin" and is guaranteed to last. |
|
And
while many tint their windows for the looks, "it’s not just
cosmetic." he says. "This product actually insulates the windows,
keeping heat in during the winter and out during the summer.
It prevents the fading of the upholstery, and this film causes
the glass to become shatterproof. It also cuts down on the glare
of headlights. |
| Used
commercially, as well as in restaurants for example, it reduces
heat by approximately 80 per cent and reduces air conditioning
costs by 25 per cent. |
| As a security
measure, it deters breaking in if one can’t be sure whether
or not someone is inside watching. It also helps car break-ins
as one is less likely to break in and steal what they don’t
see." Some
franchisees say they were looking to start a business, when
they heard the great news about Tint King® stores opening
on a regular basis all around the world.
Cost of
tinting a car, truck or van ranges from $99 and up, depending
on the type of vehicle and tinting used. The process of applying
the film is done within an hour or so.
Starkman
says once the tint is applied, motorists are told not to open
their windows for about two weeks, to ensure it’s bonded properly.

In
addition to the tinting services, Tint King® also sells
just about any car accessory imaginable. "We have available
sunroofs, auto masks, alarm systems...all the toys for big
girls and boys.
